2. Overview
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), and only as far as necessary to operate this website and handle your enquiries. This website uses no contact form, no newsletter, no advertising or marketing tracking, no cookies and no embedded third-party content such as maps, videos or social media posts. For statistical evaluation we use only the cookieless service IONOS WebAnalytics (see section 3). Fonts are loaded from our own web server. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
Our WordPress installation includes a script for displaying emojis. Only if your browser cannot display emojis itself does it load the relevant images from a WordPress.org server (s.w.org); your IP address is transmitted to that server, which may be located outside the EU. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in displaying the website correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Hosting, e-mail, server log files and WebAnalytics
The website and our e-mail accounts are operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes data on our behalf as a processor; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded.
When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary access data: referrer, page or file requested, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and the IP address, which according to IONOS is anonymised as soon as it is collected. The purpose is to deliver the website and keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to IONOS, this access data is stored for eight weeks.
In addition, we use IONOS WebAnalytics to evaluate the use of the website statistically and to improve it technically. WebAnalytics does not set cookies. It records the access data listed above; according to IONOS, the IP address is anonymised immediately after transmission and used only to determine the approximate location. The evaluations contain no data that allows conclusions about your identity. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website according to need (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide, such as your name, company, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message. We use this data to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or carry out a business relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Providing your data is voluntary; without contact details, however, we cannot answer your enquiry.
We keep your enquiry for as long as needed to handle it. Business correspondence that we must retain under commercial or tax law is kept for the statutory period, usually seven years (§ 212 UGB, § 132 BAO).
5. Recipients
Your data is processed by IONOS as our processor. Beyond that, we share data only where required by law or where necessary to handle your enquiry or to prepare and carry out a business relationship.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). A message to kontakt@hanse-agrar.at is sufficient.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Austrian Data Protection Authority), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
